This morning, my dad—Wayman—went home to be with Jesus.
He was my hero, mentor, and friend. A man who loved deeply, cared sincerely, and never met a stranger.

So many lives were touched, encouraged, and forever changed because he shared the love of Jesus with them. Hundreds were directly touched but thousands of people will reap the benefits of his love without ever knowing him.

His faith shaped everything he did, and his kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

I miss him more than words can express, but I’m so grateful for the life he lived and the legacy he leaves behind.
He finished his race well—and now he’s resting in the presence of the Savior he loved so much.
